Regular meetings for the Moon Transportation Authority (MTA) Board of Directors for 2019 will be held on the first Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m. except for September, which will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. All meetings will be held at the Moon Township Municipal Building, 1000 Beaver Grade Road, Moon Township, PA 15108.

Basic Responsibilities

The Moon Transportation Authority (MTA) was established in 1987 to promote economic and infrastructure development in Moon Township. Since its inception, the MTA has financed and constructed three new interchanges and several connector roads along Interstate Business Loop 376. Each project has enhanced the transportation network in Moon Township and opened hundreds of acres of land for development.

The MTA Board consists of five (5) members appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Two members are recommended by the Moon Area School District, two members are from the Board of Supervisors, and one member is appointed to represent the Moon Township business community.

Regular meetings for the Moon Transportation Authority (MTA) Board of Directors for 2018 will be held on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. All meetings will be held at the Moon Township Municipal Building, 1000 Beaver Grade Road, Moon Township, PA 15108.
